Grant Activity

Teach and/or research in the proposed area of interest. Scholar proposals are accepted for any discipline at the postdoctoral level. The ratio of teaching vs. research and the number of courses to be taught is to be arranged between the scholar and the host institution.

Three to six months
Grant Dates

All grants should begin between September 2021 and May 2022, unless otherwise justified. Grantees may extend their stay in Sweden on their own following the maximum six month Fulbright award.

Locations

Any institution of higher education or research in Sweden; applicants must arrange their own affiliation by the time of application.

Special Features

Lecturers/Research Scholars are encouraged to apply to the Inter-country Program from participating European Fulbright commissions/posts for additional funding to travel within Europe for activities related to their academic project. Please see the Commission website for information.
