Conduct research, teach or a combination of teaching and research in any field at an appropriate host institution in Belgium.

Grant Length
Three to nine months
Grant Dates

Grants must occur between September 2021 and June 2022. As many grantees apply for only one semester (i.e., three to five months) of funding, scholars who wish to spend an academic year (i.e., nine months) in Belgium should justify the need for this duration in their application.

Locations

Scholars are welcome to submit applications affiliated with any appropriate institution in Belgium, including accredited universities and university colleges, governments, think tanks, and non-profit organizations. Applicants should keep in mind the regional and linguistic divisions in Belgium when identifying locations for their research, and are encouraged to consider affiliations thoughout the country (not just in the capital).
