Award Activity

Conduct teaching or teaching/research, including lectures, seminars and/or workshops, in any area of the Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, or Pure and Applied Sciences (STEM).  Collaborate with colleagues at Greek universities, museums and other cultural organizations and research centers. Projects with a lecturing component are preferred.  Lecturing can include teaching a course and/or offering seminars/workshops.

Scholars selected for this award will be required to:
  • Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses of the applicant’s choosing
Award Length
Fall term: Three months; Spring term: three to four months. Total grant length is either three or four months depending on the term selected.
Award Dates

Grants must begin in either October 2022 (three months) or February 2023 (three to four months).

Locations

Applicants may affiliate with any appropriate host institution in Greece. A list of possible hosts can be found at

Teaching

Teaching includes classroom teaching, as well as giving guest lectures, workshops, and seminars, and engaging in other related activities. Classroom teaching is typically at the undergraduate and graduate level, and courses may be designed by the scholar or prescribed by the host institution and may be taught or co-taught by the scholar. The teaching load varies by award, as well as the host institution. Scholars may also consult on building research capacity, advise graduate students, and assist with thesis advising.
