Award Details
Grant Activity

Conduct research in any area of interest, preferably in collaboration with Hungarian scholars. Assist in curriculum development and participate in staff training, as requested.

Grant Length
Three to four months
Grant Dates

Research must be completed between August 2021 and July 2022; Flex applicants may complete their grants between July 2021 and August 2023.


Any appropriate institution.

Flex Option
Flex Description

Flex grants of two months over two consecutive years are possible with prior arrangement with host institution. Final approval of Flex grants will be contingent upon available funding.

The scholar will be expected to teach two courses in his/her specialization and will be involved in the university’s research activity, in accordance with the work plan jointly developed with the National University of Public Service.

The scholar will be expected to teach up to three courses and to take part in the activities expected of other University of Szeged scholars.

Scholars applying for a joint teaching and research project may undertake research within their area of specialization.
