Please note that, although part of the information on the host institution website is in Spanish, most members of Departments and Faculties involved in the Master’s in the School of Computer Science speak English, and the scholar will be expected to teach only in English. Detailed information about specific tasks will be provided to candidates in a timely manner after being selected.

Teaching at the postgraduate level:
Teaching at graduate level in the Master Science degree on topics of Computer Science. The visiting professor will teach a maximum of two courses, 10-15 students and five to seven weeks of duration each course including lectures and seminars.

The candidate is expected to collaborate teaching some of the courses of the MSc degree in New Technologies of Computer Science. This master currently has European-wide quality certification (EuroInf). The courses in which the candidate will participate will be chosen according to his/her interest and previous experience. Research:
The candidate is expected to participate in research activities in collaboration with a research team.

The candidate is expected to collaborate with our research groups on Computer Science topics according to his/her interests and profile. This collaboration includes but not limited to meetings, research paper proposals, doctorate seminars, and participate in research projects.

While this award is open to any project in the disciplines listed above, there is interest in scholars who are in these particular specialty areas.

The professor's expertise should preferably be in Computer Science, although a background in Mathematics or Engineering would be also considered.

The Universidad de Murcia (UM) sponsors this award and, in addition to financial benefits, offers advice to find housing and, if necessary, a school for dependent children. A contact will be available to help the professor adapt to the university. The Scholar will enjoy all the benefits and rights of a regular faculty member of the UM, including access to all digital resources.
