Grant Activity

The award holder will be expected to teach one regular course for undergraduate/graduate students as well as a more specialized seminar for Ph.D. students in one of the humanities and social sciences academic units at the Faculty of English, Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU). The Distinguished Chair will be encouraged to give talks at other AMU humanities and social sciences units as well as participate in collaborative research with AMU scholars.

Award is offered for 4 to 9 months (a semester or an academic year).

Since the academic year in Poland starts in October, grants cannot start prior to that date. 

One-semester grants must begin either in October 2021 or February 2022; two-semester grants must begin in October 2021.
