Grant Activity

The award holder will be expected to teach two regular courses for undergraduate/graduate students as well as a more specialized seminar for Ph.D. students in the Chair of British and American Studies or another academic unit at the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS). The Distinguished Chair will be encouraged to give talks at UMCS humanities and social sciences units as well as participate in collaborative research with UMCS scholars. The award holders will be expected to affiliate publications completed during their stay in Lublin with UMCS.

Award is offered for 4, 5 or 9 months (a semester or an academic year).

Since the academic year in Poland starts in October, grants cannot start prior to that date. One-semester grants must begin either in October 2021 or February 2022; two-semester grants must begin in October 2021.
