Research in projects/grants carried out by the research group and advise and/or mentor Graduate students. Our research group currently has active collaborations with universities in the USA, such as Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Prof. Jorge E. Chavarro) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Prof. Shanna H. Swan).    

Research

  • Research areas include: epidemiology, reproductive health epidemiology, hospital epidemiology, or clinical epidemiology.

Scholars selected for this award will be required to:
  • Advise and/or mentor students
  • Conduct a research project designated by the host institution
  • Conduct a research project of the applicant’s choosing

The professor's expertise should preferably be in epidemiology, biostatistics and/or reproductive health with a focus on reproductive epidemiology. Expertise in hospital epidemiology will also be considered.

The UM sponsors this award and, in addition to financial benefits, offers advice to find housing and if necessary, a school for dependent children. A contact will be available to help the professor adapt to the university.
