Grant Activity

Grant activity is flexible, depending on the Scholar's expertise. However, candidates are expected to work in ongoing research projects and give seminars.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

Special Features

The host will contribute with €750/month for housing expenses. 

The host institution will provide office space with access to computer, internet, e-mail and phone. Additionally, BRU-IUL provides technical and administrative support to researchers working within the unit.
