Award Activity

The Scholar will be expected to teach two courses, and will be welcome to conduct their own research or join the university’s research projects. They may also take part in other activities within the scholar community at Corvinus University of Budapest such as advising students, assisting with faculty training and curriculum development, meeting with Fulbright alumni, doing community outreach, engaging with the local English-speaking community, being available to local media and pursuing their own interests.

The Scholar may also have the opportunity to give guest lectures at other Hungarian universities if invited.

Scholars selected for this award will be required to:
  • Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses of the applicant’s choosing

Corvinus University of Budapest is one of Hungary’s top research universities with educational programs in business administration, economics, and social sciences. The university offers courses leading to degrees at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels in Hungarian, English, French, and German. The university aims to develop and strengthen international relations, taking part in international networks, establishing joint programs and joint research activities, enhancing student and teaching staff mobility. In 2018 the university established the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) to reach a higher level of research performance. CIAS’ goal is to create an inspiring and creative intellectual community of distinguished international scholars.

Fellows will be co-hosted by CIAS and a relevant department of research team of the university.
