Grant Activity

The Scholar will be expected to teach two courses, and will be involved in the university’s research activities. The Scholar will also be expected to give guest lectures at other Hungarian universities if invited. 

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

Corvinus University of Budapest is one of Hungary’s top research universities with educational programs in business administration, economics, and social sciences. The university offers courses leading to degrees at bachelor, master, and doctoral level in Hungarian, English, French, and German. The university aims at developing and strengthening international relations, taking part in international networks, establishing joint programs and joint research activities, enhancing student and teaching staff mobility. Based on Eduniversal ranking, Corvinus was the second best business school in the CEE region.

Corvinus University of Budapest is among the top three universities in Hungary providing degrees that are competitive not only on the European but also in the global market.

In 2018 the university established the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) to reach a higher level of research performance. CIAS’ goal is to create an inspiring and creative intellectual community of distinguished international scholars. Fellows will be hosted by CIAS and an adequate department of research team of the university.
