The Scholar will be expected to teach two courses, and will be involved in the university’s research activities. The Scholar will also be expected to give guest lectures at other Hungarian universities if invited.

Corvinus University of Budapest is one of Hungary’s top research universities with educational programs in business administration, economics, and social sciences. The university offers courses leading to degrees at bachelor, master, and doctoral level in Hungarian, English, French, and German. In 2018 the university established the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) to reach a higher level of research performance. CIAS’ goal is to create an inspiring and creative intellectual community of distinguished international scholars.

Fellows will be co-hosted by CIAS and an adequate department of research team of the university.

Related Awards


Conduct research in any area of interest, preferably in collaboration with Hungarian scholars at an institution within the Hungarian Academy of Sciences network. Assist in curriculum development and participate in staff training, as requested.


Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in one or more of the areas of specialization. Participate in curriculum and program development and offer consultations for students and staff, as requested. Conduct collaborative research in area of specialization.


The scholar will be expected to teach two courses in his/her specialization and will be involved in the university’s research activity, in accordance with the work plan jointly developed with the National University of Public Service.
