Grant Activity

A flexible combination of teaching and research activities that entails at least  two courses (classes meet once a week for 90 minutes) and may include advising or supervising advanced students. Format, content and level of the individual courses (advanced undergraduate and graduate) are negotiated with the host institution.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

The Faculty of Humanities is particularly interested in scholars whose teaching and research interests are primarily associated with cultural studies and who would work with one (or preferably more) of the Faculty's 24 departments in the fields of American Studies, Ancient and Modern History, Archaeology, Art History, Jewish Studies, Digital Humanities, Classical and Modern Languages and Literature, Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Musicology, and Philosophy.
