One 30-hour course (6 ECTS, 6 hour teaching load per week over 5 weeks, about 25 students ) entitled “Sustainability and Circular Economy”, within the Master Degree Resource Economics and Sustainable Development (RESD). This course will be also included as an elective course in the Master Degree Economics (LMEC), and in the Master Degree Tourism Economics and Management (TEAM), and will be chosen by students willing to gain a deeper insight in advanced topics in environmental economics. This course may include lab classes, if needed, and is offered at the Rimini campus of the University of Bologna.
One 15-hour course (5 hour teaching load per week over 3 weeks, about 10 students) in the PhD Programme in Economics. It is an elective course on “Topics in sustainable and inclusive development”.
The Lecturer is expected to submit a syllabus for each course and to advise graduate students.
The Fulbright Lecturer is also expected to contribute to the organization of the seminar activity within the research group in “Environmental and Resource Economics”, Department of Economics University of Bologna. Seminars can be organized weekly. Seminar attendance will be open to all interested PhD students and graduate students enrolled in the Master Degrees RESD, LMEC, and TEAM willing to write their final Dissertation on topics related to environmental economics and, in particular, on circular economy and sustainability.
The above-mentioned seminars can be organized in collaboration with other Phd Programmes on related topics, such as the PhD programme in Structural and Environmental Health Monitoring and Management (SEHM2), Engineering Science, University of Bologna.
