Grant Activity

Teaching and research at advanced undergraduate and graduate levels.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

The award is open to any specialization in all the fields offered at the Palacky University, including but not limited to Anthropology, History, History of Art, Journalism, Literature, Political Science, Philology, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Law, Medicine and related disciplines, Physiotheraphy, Pedagogy, Special Needs Education, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Theology, and Physical Education and Training.

Special Features

Host institutions can provide assistance with locating housing and schooling for dependents (English language pre-school, elementary and secondary school is available in Olomouc).
