Grant Activity

The purpose of this award is to give creative artists of all contemporary media, including but not limited to the fields in the Specializations box below, an opportunity to work in residence with one or more of the cultural providers associated with Q21.

A project proposal that describes the artist’s planned contribution to Q21 activities and that specifically mentions one or more Q21 project partners of interest should be submitted with the application. A letter of invitation from an appropriate Q21/MQ host is strongly recommended.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.
