The Fulbright Senior Scholar Fellowship at Tel Aviv University Award is a joint fellowship to senior faculty to be carried out at Tel Aviv University (TAU). This fellowship enables American senior scholars to pursue a semester of research and/or teaching at TAU. 

The Mortimer and Raymond Sackler Institute of Advanced Studies will be the official host of the fellow and the contact at the university, while the hosting academic unit is responsible for providing an office and/or laboratory space.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

Grant activity will take place at Tel Aviv University.
