Grant Activity

A flexible combination of teaching and research activities that entail teaching a minimum of two courses (classes meet once a week for 90 minutes) in one of the degree programs offered at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in the field of information security.

Grant related activities may also include advising or supervising advanced students as well as developing joint research projects with faculty. The format and content of individual courses and research objectives are negotiated on a consensual basis with the host institution, contingent upon its needs and the grantee’s interests and expertise. The Department of IT Security and Data Science is seeking individuals that are also open to making an active contribution to the research conducted at the department as well as to publishing jointly written research papers.

St. Pölten is a city with 54,000 inhabitants located 50 miles west of Austria’s capital Vienna. The city is located within convenient commuting distance to Vienna, with excellent connection to public transportation (25-minute train ride from Vienna with trains departing fom Vienna every 30 minutes). The University of Applied Sciences is only a 12-minute walk from the train station and city center.
