Grant Activity

A flexible combination of teaching at an advanced graduate and Ph.D. level, advising and co-supervision of Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral fellows, and innovative research in collaboration with the host institution.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

The host institution seeks candidates with excellent research record in one of the fields represented within the Department of Chemistry, especially in the fields of glycomics, glycan mass spectrometry and glycobiology. The visiting professor should collaborate with a wide range of experts within the Department and beyond (especially the neighbouring Departments of Biotechnology, of Applied Genetics and Cell Biology and Nanobiotechnology) interested in these topics. The visiting professor should engage in related coursework and in supervision of BOKU graduate students
