Grant Activity

A flexible combination of teaching at an advanced graduate and Ph.D. level, advising and co-supervision of Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral fellows, and innovative research in collaboration with the host institution. 

The visiting professor should engage in coursework related to their field of specialization, and will supervise University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences graduate students.

While this award is open to any project in the disciplines listed above, there is interest in scholars who are in these particular specialty areas.

The fields represented within the Department of Forest and Soil Sciences. Particular focus on forest ecosystems (molecular to landscape), within any of the disciplines listed or preferably cross-disciplinary. Also fields within the neighboring Department of Integrative Biology and Biodiversity Research, and the Department of Water, Atmosphere and Environment.
