Grant Activity

Successful candidates will be expected to carry out an active research programme within one of the AMBER research laboratories or facilities.  Collaborative research with an AMBER PI is encouraged.  Candidates will be expected to disseminate the research through seminars and lectures, whilst at AMBER. Candidates will be expected to facilitate ongoing links with their home institution and related research centers after their visit.

Depending on the research interests of the applicant(s), a suitable collaborative project will be agreed with relevant AMBER Investigators.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.
