Grant Activity

Collaborate with staff on the delivery of specialist lectures on health professions education, pedagogy and research to MSc course (average class size: 20) and/or medical education audience: 8-12 hours in total; Deliver faculty workshops in Scholar’s area of expertise in Health Profession/Medical Education, Simulation, Professionalism and Research. Collaborate with staff to discuss and develop research protocols.

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)

The focus of RCSI is on undergraduate medical, pharmacy and physiotherapy education, as well as nursing, leadership, healthcare management and translational (bench to bedside to population) original research activities. RCSI is also the national surgery training college. Founded in 1784, RCSI provides extensive education and training in the healthcare professions. RCSI’s medical school is one of the world’s leading international medical schools and is the largest medical school in Ireland. The College also provides undergraduate courses in pharmacy and physiotherapy. RCSI delivers postgraduate training and education through its Faculties of Radiology, Nursing & Midwifery, Dentistry, Sports & Exercise Medicine, the School of Postgraduate Studies, the Institute of Leadership and the National Surgical Training Centre. The RCSI Research Institute is one of Ireland’s foremost research centers. More than 60 countries are represented in RCSI’s international student body. The College has a strong international presence with Schools in Malaysia, Dubai and a university in Bahrain.
