Grant Activity

Deliver lectures, seminars or workshops to students and professors and assist in curriculum development in any area. Collaborative research and publication with Chilean colleagues is also encouraged. Applicants should propose a work ratio between teaching and research, if applying for the teaching/research option. Final arrangements will be negotiated by the grantee and the host institution.

In addition to being a prestigious academic exchange program, the Fulbright Program is designed to expand and strengthen relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other nations and to promote international understanding and cooperation. To support this mission, Fulbright Scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host community, in addition to their primary activities‎.

Grants must begin in either August 2020 or March 2021.

Locations

Any accredited university or research institution in Chile. Collaboration with regional universities and multiple affiliations are welcome.
