Grant Activity

The visiting scholar would be expected to undertake a defined program of research at the hosting institution.  The scholar would participate in or attend school activities (seminars, conferences etc.), have the opportunity to work with research faculty, and give lectures in DIAS/local universities.

While this award is open to any project in the disciplines listed above, there is interest in scholars who are in these particular specialty areas.

Applications are welcome from candidates in all fields of theoretical and mathematical physics. Preference would be given to candidates with a strong research record especially in gauge/gravity, lattice gauge theory or non-commutative geometry, integrable systems, string and M-theory, causal set theory, theoretical cosmology and conformal field theory.
