Grant Activity

This group seminar is designed to familiarize U.S. higher education administrators from American universities, colleges or community colleges with Germany's higher education system, society and culture. Participants will have the chance to engage in discussions on recent challenges in German and U.S. higher education, to further their professional development and establish new partnerships. During the first days in Berlin, participants are provided with a comprehensive overview of Germany and its higher education system through presentations, discussions with experts, and campus visits. During the second part of the program, participants will travel to other destinations throughout Germany to visit further institutions of (higher) education such as research universities and universities of applied sciences. The seminar offers the opportunity to explore Germany’s federal education system within the European context (program details to be determined).
